In order for us to be able to achieve and live the life we always wanted for ourselves, we must first of all have clear goals for life, and in order to be able to advance these goals, we must know exactly what they are.

A list of goals is a technical tool that helps us organize and focus ourselves towards the advancement of our goals. This is a critical stage for shaping the future of our success and it cannot be avoided. It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve already heard about the importance of setting goals and it doesn’t matter how much you think you already know what your goals in life are. In order to succeed in life we must have written, clear, up-to-date and well-formulated goals.

Take a piece of paper and write in the title “My list of goals” and start writing a list that includes at least 15 goals or dreams that you would like to achieve and fulfill in life. Do it without limiting yourself and thinking whether you are capable of it or not.

  1. Career and finances – occupational advancement and financial goals we wish to achieve.
  2. Personal development – abilities, skills and qualities that we wish to improve ourselves.
  3. Property and entertainment – material things we want to achieve and experience we want to have.

It is important that the list be as detailed and clear as possible. For example, if you are interested in earning more money, it is not enough to write down “I want to earn more money”, specify how much more you are interested in earning and in how much time.

Career and finance – “Increase my salary by 20% within 5 months from today.”, “Purchase an investment property and generate additional income from it.”, “Open the business I always wanted in my field of expertise…”
